How do I start streaming?

Sign in with your Google account, tap New Stream, enter a title and privacy setting, configure your scoreboard, and tap Start Stream. The app creates a YouTube live event and starts broadcasting automatically.

Do I need a YouTube channel?

Yes. You need a YouTube channel with live streaming enabled. If you haven't streamed before, YouTube may require up to 24 hours to activate live streaming on your channel.

What sports are supported?

Football, Futsal, Basketball, Handball, Volleyball, Tennis, Padel, Badminton, Table Tennis, Rugby, Field Hockey, Ice Hockey, Roller Hockey, American Football, Water Polo, Cricket, Baseball, Basque Pelota, Frontenis, Jai Alai, Pickleball, Floorball, Gaelic Football, and Hurling. Each sport has a customized scoreboard layout.

What quality does the stream use?

Free users stream at 720p (1.5 Mbps). Pro and Club subscribers can choose 1080p (3 Mbps). The app automatically reduces quality if your device overheats or battery runs low.

What happens if my connection drops?

The app automatically attempts to reconnect up to 3 times with increasing delays (2s, 4s, 8s). If reconnection fails, the stream stops and the YouTube broadcast is transitioned to "complete".

Can I stream over cellular data?

Yes, but Wi-Fi is recommended for stability. On cellular, the app suggests 720p to conserve bandwidth (approximately 0.7 - 1.4 GB per hour).

What is the free stream time limit?

Free users can stream up to 45 minutes per session. Upgrade to Pro for unlimited duration.

How does remote scoring work?

During a live stream, the camera operator shares a 6-digit code. A teammate opens the app on another device, taps Scorekeeper, and enters the code. They can then control the scoreboard remotely. Both devices must be on the same Wi-Fi network.

Is remote scoring available on all plans?

Remote scoring is a Club-exclusive feature.

What are the subscription tiers?

Free: 45-min streams, 720p, watermark. Pro ($9.99/mo or $49.99/yr): scoreboard, unlimited duration, 1080p, no watermark, custom styles, main sponsor. Club ($149.99/yr): everything in Pro plus remote scoring, team badges, 6-sponsor carousel, white-label mode.

Is there a free trial?

New Pro subscribers get a 7-day free trial. If you cancel before the trial ends, you will not be charged.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Go to your device's Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions and select Teempad Camera to manage or cancel. Subscriptions must be cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date.

How do I restore my purchase on a new device?

Open the app, go to Settings, tap Upgrade, then tap Restore Purchase. Your subscription is tied to your Apple ID and will be restored automatically.

How do I delete my account?

Go to Settings → Profile → Delete Account. This revokes Google access, clears all local data (including sponsors and badges), and removes your Keychain credentials. This action cannot be undone.

What data does the app collect?

The app collects your Google account name, email, and user ID for authentication. Crash reports are sent via Firebase Crashlytics. No analytics or usage data is collected. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
